Course Objectives

Competitive intelligence and marketplace changes have challenged companies to rethink the concept of their performance and risk management practices. Banks need to comply with BASEL II, but what about industry and other types of organizations? What kind of risk are they exposed to? Modern organizations turn away from rigid budget oriented management to a proactive and transparent performance management by making use ofnew generation “Business Intelligence” methodologies and tools that provide real-time information like competition intelligence and customer behaviour analysis.

After a short introduction, the training guides participants from the internal process of audit and assessment to the set-up of strategic measures and indicators, by considering the risk value as well as the business drivers and finally arriving to a cockpit controlling concept. This course is specifically designed to focus on the practical aspects.
